China International Textile Fabrics Home Textiles and Accessories Expo (INTERTEXTILE) was founded in 1995. The origin of the concept of the Expo and its market positioning are based on two aspects: first, the large demand for new and high-end fabrics and the requirements for further improvement and upgrading of the garment surface accessories industry in the development of China's clothing industry; second, the vigorous rise of China's home textiles, especially decorative textiles market and its broad development prospects.

Since 2015, intertextile China International Textile Fabrics and Accessories (Autumn and Winter) Expo, together with Yarnexpo China International Textile Yarn (Autumn and Winter) Expo, CHIC China International Clothing and Apparel Expo (Autumn), PH Value China International Knitting (Autumn and Winter) Expo and other upstream and downstream brand exhibitions in the industrial chain have been held in Shanghai every year as scheduled. As the unique exhibition joint fleet in the global textile industry chain, it comprehensively presents new products, new technologies, new models, new trends and new concepts in the textile field, promotes the healthy and sustainable development of the industry, and cooperates to open a new development pattern.
